The principal methods of recruitment we use are:
Retained Advertised Selection
BCL Legal would act exclusively in the recruitment of a suitable candidate for a particular vacancy. In advertising the post you, the client, could elect to prominently display your company logo in order to promote and identify your firm. Or you could choose a more confidential approach in which case the advert would be 'blind' with just the BCL Legal appearing. We would, of course advise on media, format, content and production. Responding candidates would then be interviewed by us and a short list of the most suitable prepared to your requirements. The final selection would follow your normal interview procedures.
Networking & Recommendation
The founder directors of BCL Legal have between them over 15 years practical experience of the legal market in the North West. Their substantial database of contacts and knowledge of the market often means that good candidates can quickly be put in touch with clients. In their search of high calibre staff many clients avail themselves of this popular service.
Advertised selection
BCL Legal puts the previous two methods together with a carefully considered advert designed to promote a two way response mechanism. The candidate can then respond either directly to the client or to BCL Legal. This option can often be a less expensive alternative as fees are calculated depending on the involvement of the consultant.
Database Selection
This is the most common form of recruitment and represents excellent value for money. BCL Legal would introduce you to the fee earners that are already registered with them as a result of our regular generic advertising on the internet and in the trade press. Each of our candidates is cross referenced so that specialism, qualification, expertise, experience and so on can exactly suit client needs.
General Client Advice
BCL Legal are able to offer specific advice regarding salaries and benefits, structures of firms and departments, recruitment projects and trends. |
