Civil Ligation Locum
Job Description
We would be looking for qualified Solicitors who have experience in (and not limited to) the following areas of work:
Defending civil claims
Preparing cases/ providing representation at inquests/judicial reviews
Ability to handle own advocacy
Attending to Freedom of Information Requests under the Data Protection Act for disclosure
Attending directions hearings and attending with counsel
Providing telephone and written advice
Considering evidence and pursuing applications where relevant under Proceeds of Crime Act/Sexual Offences Prevention Orders Act
Advising in relation to applications/reviews of premises license/firearms license.
The annual salary for this post would be 36,033, which would obviously be pro rata for the period of the contract, though hourly rates would also be an option.
