Civil Litigation Lawyer, Northampton
Job Description
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced civil litigation solicitor to join an expanding law firm in order to spearhead the development of this specialist team.
You will be based at the Northampton office and will have responsibility for managing an existing case load and growing a team to deal with a demanding a rapidly changing area of civil litigation law. The work will include general litigation, consumer credit litigation and debt recovery. Experience of consumer credit is not a pre-requisite however you must have a very sold understanding of the CPR and have excellent negotiation skills.
Management is a key element to role and as well as the enthusiasm and motivation to continually challenge yourself you must have the ability to manage and motivate others. You will also be responsible for setting targets and objectives and ensuring that these are met. As the department grows you will have the responsibility to recruit the appropriate number of fee earners.
