Job Description

Commercial Property Head of Department sought by leading national law firm with offices across all the major cities in the country.

This is a highly unusual opportunity for a senior/equity partner to join a practice which has seen growth during the recent recession, a firm which has a broad base of sector expertise and does not rely on a specific type or size of client. This is a firm that can offer incredible PEP within a very friendly and cohesive partnership. This is a top 25 firm and has built on its success, particularly over the last 10 years.

We are looking for someone with considerable experience in commercial property, ideally across a variety of areas including landlord and tenant and development. You will have experience of growing a department, supervising others, recruitment and generally running a successful team. You will have contacts that you can bring with you and perhaps a small team of colleagues.

In return the firm is looking for someone who wants to join the equity, either immediately or in the near future. The rewards are high and unlike many firms at this time, this practice is very keen to make the investment now. You will join a national real estate team and will be expected to take on a national role within the firm, spearheading the development of this department for the firm as a whole. Working closely with the London office, you will handle any work that needs to be done out of Manchester as well as developing the contacts the firm has in the North West.

This is a genuinely exciting opportunity for someone who has perhaps suffered in their current firm over the last 12 months and seeks a challenge in a new firm where you can be assured the PEP will remain high and your contribution will be valued.
