Construction Associate, Milton Keynes
Job Description
This is a new instruction for BCL Legal. Our client is one of the leading construction law firms in the UK and is currently looking to expand the team in Milton Keynes by recruiting an associate solicitor.
The ideal candidate will have gained a minimum of 5 years post qualification experience with a top City or national law firm. You will have gained both contentious and non-contentious construction experience. More specifically; all forms of construction dispute resolution, acting for employers and funders on major developments, preparation of building contracts, consultants appointments, warranties and associated documents, advising funders regarding contracts, appointments and the construction aspects of facility agreements and development agreements, working alongside real estate/finance/banking teams, dealing with bespoke building contracts, advising on differing types of procurement.
As well as this, candidates will be responsible for the supervision of more junior members of the team and will be actively involved in marketing the department. Therefore the ability to foster and develop relationships is key as is a commitment to the highest standard of client care.
