Job Description
Due to continued growth our client is looking for a commercial lawyer to join their business. The successful individual will act as sole legal adviser to a business unit but will form part of a wider legal team.
Based in the North West you will have responsibility for a range of commercial matters including drafting, negotiating and advising on commercial contracts which includes bespoke and more standardised contracts. You will also support on tenders and assist with corporate acquisitions. As the sole and first lawyer within the business you will take responsibility for establishing the legal function.
To be considered for this opportunity you will have a minimum of 4 years' pqe and have previous experience of working in industry. An understanding of how an in-house legal function operates is essential as is a strong character and attention to detail.
