Mental Health Solicitor NQ - 3yrs
Job Description
Liverpool National practice requires a solicitor with experience of Mental Health work to join their established team.
The main duties will include providing written and telephone advice to mainly NHS clients on a wide range of issues, with support and supervision, often on a very urgent basis. These include mental health, safeguarding adults and children, consent to treatment, data protection and freedom of information, Court of Protection and judicial review proceedings.
The role involves providing advice and assistance on a wide variety of legal matters including -
General legal advice
Supporting clients & advocacy at inquests
Judicial reviews
Mental health matters
Child Protection advice
Regulation of GP's/Dentists/Pharmacists
Consent to treatment
Confidentiality issues
Data Protection.
