Job Description
Paralegal, Industrial/Occupational Disease. Leading national defendant litigation firm seek a disease paralegal to specialise in disease work. Disease experience not essential.
The firm seek a disease paralegal with some proven defendant personal injury experience, and a strong interest in disease work (hands on disease experience is not essential). There may also be an opportunity to get involved with some employment law, so experience/exposure and an interest to get involved in this area would equally be advantageous, (although not a pre-requisite.)
This firm is one of the largest defendant litigation law firms in the country. They provide advice to a broad range of commercial and public sector clients, including insurance companies, FTSE-100 businesses, small and medium enterprises, public sector organisations, professional service bodies, transport operators and universities. The firm is highly regarded for its work in advising on catastrophic injury, claims fraud, construction, environmental law, general liability (EL/PL and RTA claims), healthcare, occupational disease, product/brand management, professional negligence, property insurance, psychiatric injury, reputation management, regulatory issues and stress.
Salary £20-25,000, dependent upon specific experience. Benefits include Private Health Care/Permanent Health Insurance/Life and Accident Insurance (3 x salary)/Pension scheme/20 days annual leave.
