Job Description
This is a new instruction for BCL Legal. Our client currently have a requirement for a contentious regulatory solicitor to join their highly regarded litigation practice based in Birmingham.
Applications are welcome from candidates who have a gained a minimum of 3 years post qualification experience in regulatory defence work. You will inherit a caseload of matters Corporate Crime, Global Government Relations, Public Law, Safety, Health & Environment & Product and Food Safety. Candidates will have a background of working for another leading regulatory team and will preferably have gained exposure to acting for large corporate clients. You will also have a strong academic profile and will have keen advocacy skills.
The role will involve the supervision of more junior members of staff and prior experience of doing this will put you at a distinct advantage. It is envisaged that you will work very closely with a partner who is regarded as a leader in the field and this will lead to a great deal of client exposure, very strong client handling and development skills are therefore essential.
