Ozon is a boutique firm in the heart of Manchester. Due to our continued expansion, we are seeking to recruit a commercial disputes/professional negligence litigator. Established in 2006, we handle some of the most complex multi-party contractual disputes in the city. As a niche litigation practice we have a client base the envy of a top law firm, including insurance companies, private banks, insurance brokers on and off-shore. The work is extremely challenging and cases are often valued in the £millions. We are looking for an experienced commercial disputes and professional negligence solicitor with previous experience of being involved in high value and complex matters. You will be someone dedicated to achieving a high standard and ambition to excel in your work. You must have sufficiently broad knowledge of general principles of commercial and insurance related law. Litigation experience is paramount. Your opponents are likely to be in London and often in the Top 20 law firms in the country. We take pride in delivering the best results for loyal and demanding clients. As a result, you must have excellent communication skills and an enquiring mind. You will be assisting the senior partner on his files - there are no targets or politics. This is a unique opportunity if you are looking for complex litigation and a real path to progress.
