Clinical Negligence Solicitor, Leeds

An international practice with an excellent reputation in Insurance and Corporate matters is seeking a clinical negligence solicitor to join its Leeds office.

This clinical negligence team has a wealth of experience with both partners being highly regarded and rated in Chambers; you will have the opportunity to develop in complex and maximum severity cases. The team act for the NHSLA, MDU and NHS Trusts defending clinical negligence claims.

As a clinical negligence solicitor with this legal 500 firm in Leeds you will be expected to:

- Handle a caseload of pre-litigated and litigated defendant clinical negligence claims on behalf of the NHSLA, MDU and NHS Trusts
- Act as a primary point of contact for clients on a day to day basis
- Have an involvement in non-fee earning activity, including business development

To be suitable for this clinical negligence solicitor position in Leeds you will have:

- Ideally an in-depth defendant clinical negligence knowledge, although applications from strong candidates with a background in claimant clinical negligence or defendant personal injury may also be considered
- An understanding of the NHS business drivers
- A commercial approach to legal issues
