Following the successful appointment of a senior lawyer in the UK in 2014, the business is seeking to further expand the legal team in the UK with the appointment an additional lawyer. This role reports to the senior lawyer in the UK, you will undertake a varied role advising Vaillant UK in relation to a range of legal areas across commercial, contractual and company secretarial projects.
This will include areas such as:
* Commercial work: A wide range of commercial, contractual and disputes. This will include reviewing and advising on a range of commercial contracts and agreements, including software licences, services agreements, distribution agreements and NDAs.
* Compliance: managing customer issues, data protection and the impact of new legislative developments
* Marketing: supporting the team with promotions and advertorials
* Company Secretarial, Insurance & Property: completion of statutory obligations, insurance management and the estates portfolio.

It is envisaged that the successful solicitor/barrister will have at least 1 years' PQE experience gained in private practice or in-house. Whether currently working in-house or in private practice what is of prime importance is that you have excellent communication and teamwork skills along with the appetite to undertake a diverse and varied role which will provide you with the opportunity to develop into a well rounded in-house lawyer.
