This is an excellent opportunity for a Commercial Contracts / Intellectual Property / Licensing Solicitor to join an internationally focussed company that specialises in advanced manufacturing technologies.

Working within an established legal team, at the company HQ in London, the In-house Commercial/IP Solicitor will have responsibility for a broad range of commercial and IP contracts, both in the UK and internationally. This includes: technology licensing contracts and other related commercial agreements; joint development agreements and secrecy undertakings; technical service agreements; engineering and technology contracts; and intra-group agreements. You will work closely with key stakeholders and company customers, and will be responsible for risk management, compliance and legal training of colleagues.

The ideal candidate for the role of In-house Commercial/IP Solicitor is expected to have between 4-8 years' PQE in general commercial/IP matters. Experience of licensing technology and/or international work is highly sought after. A science degree would be welcome but is not essential.

To be considered for the role of In-house Commercial/IP Solicitor, you will have trained with a leading UK law firm, will ideally have some existing in-house experience, preferably within the industrial technology, engineering or manufacturing sectors, and you will have a desire to undertake an almost exclusively international caseload of work.
