'In-house Legal' Recruitment Consultant
Manchester

BCL Legal began life in 2003 and since then we have grown to become one of the largest niche legal recruitment companies in the UK with over 40 legal recruiters.

The in-house division is headed up by Mark Levine and consists of a great team of long standing and experienced consultants who work across Yorkshire, The North West, The Midlands and The South. We have built up a leading market position with long lasting relationships and a genuine involvement with the in-house market place.

Our success comes from hard work, honest advice and a friendly but professional approach. We believe we provide added valued offerings to our clients and candidates as well as an extremely collegiate working environment.

In the past 12 months we have recruited for:
NW: BAE Systems, Co-op group, Gazprom, Handelsbanken, JD Sports, Kelloggs, Liverpool Football Club, Pets at Home.
Yorkshire and the NE: Aviva, Aesica Pharmaceuticals, Drax, Lloyds Banking Group, Siemens, Sky Betting and gaming, Yorkshire Building Society.
Midlands: Alliance Boots, Carlsberg, Iron Mountain, Joules Clothing, National Grid, Rolls Royce, Wilkinson Stores, and Wolseley.
South: Appsense, Mercedes Benz, Molins PLC, Pagasystems, Salesforce.com, Satellite Information Systems, VW Finance.

We are currently running advertised campaigns for BAE Systems PLC, Michelin, Molson Coors, Scapa PLC, Speedy Hire PLC, Sports Direct, Vitaflo with more currently 'under construction'.

We are now looking for additional team members to join, to help build our reputation in the in-house legal market place.

Half the team is made up of lawyers who were looking to make a move away from practicing law and who wanted to make use of their 'inter personal' skills with the other half joining from other recruitment organisations.

In-house legal recruitment often requires a long term approach - it can take a few years of building a relationship with clients before they have a recruitment need. Key attributes are: an engaging personality, an interest in commerce, a strong work ethic and an honest approach.
