Leading independent medium-sized legal practice in Birmingham seeks an experienced employment solicitor to join their employment team. This role will suit an experienced employment solicitor who is seeking to join an established partner-led firm with exciting plans for the future.
This is a fabulous opportunity for an experienced employment practitioner to have an impact on an existing and established team. You will have the opportunity to play a pivotal role in business development and marketing activities, become a key point of contact for clients and to develop your relationship in the local market place. The team currently act for a range of both employer and employee clients.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced solicitor with three or more years' post qualified experience gained undertaking employment law work. They will be comfortable with providing a full range of employment law advice to both employers and employees, including advising on both contentious and non-contentious work to include; unfair dismissal, discrimination, TUPE, employment immigration, disciplinary and grievance processes and general advise on policies and procedures. Ideally, this will have included representing clients at tribunals and in High Court litigation..
