What time did you wake up this morning?
6am.
What’s your favourite object in your office?
I have a bell on my desk, like one you might have on a hotel reception. I ring it in the office when we complete a contract or to celebrate a win. Simple, but surprisingly satisfying!
Who is your closest colleague?
That would be Tom Kershaw, my assistant co sec and right hand man. I couldn’t do it without him.
Do you have a favourite family heirloom?
My piano. The piano stool still has my Dad’s old sheet music in it from when he was a boy.
What’s your favourite song of all time?
This is too hard! I can’t choose one! Pink Floyd “Wish You Were Here”; Abba’s “The Day Before You Came”; and Hazel O’Connor’s “Will You”; and Visage’s “Fade to Grey” and…..
What’s your favourite play?
Can this be a musical? Fiddler on the Roof or, if it can’t be a musical, War Horse.

Colin Firth
What’s your favourite book?
Pride and Prejudice……see above!
What book are you reading right now?
I’m not a big reader but I have been dipping into Geraint Thomas’s “The World According to G.”
What book do you wish you had written?
The one I haven’t written yet!
What’s the greatest invention of all time?
Boohoo.com…..!! And online shopping, generally; my fridge would be empty without it.
Is there a sport that you wish you could play?
All of them – but mainly wish I could cycle as fast as my two boys up hills.
Who inspires you in business?
All my colleagues at boohoo.
Dress up, dress down or somewhere in between?
Dress up…..always.
Where do you go to relax?
The ski slopes or a sit by the fire.
What country have you always wanted to visit?
Japan.
Besides your phone, what do you always have with you?
A smile.

The energy and passion of the people I work with- we can make anything can happen at boohoo.

G&T.

Ignoring the alarm clock.
