BCL Legal rebrand swings into life…. Both on & offline

BCL Legal – one of the leading legal recruitment consultancies outside London – has this week launched its first major re-brand in over five years. The new brand positioning and its accompanying suite of supporting collateral includes a logo, website, press advertising as well as various marketing and communication materials. It also encompasses an all new look version of The Brief – the company’s online magazine which is distributed to 40,000 lawyers each month.

The rebrand follows a period of sustained growth for BCL Legal which has seen the company grow in size; it now has over 30 employees across its private practice, in-house, interim and management & support divisions. The firm has also developed its reach and presence around the UK since its launch in 2003 and now has offices in Manchester, Leeds, Liverpool, Birmingham, Reading and Bristol.

The new brand has been developed to reflect the company’s core vision and values by conveying a confidence that communicates what it does and the fact it delivers on its promises. The freshened up look and feel is also much more stylish and current with a simple palette of red, grey and white being used throughout the various platforms. Supplementary colours are also adopted for different sectors and areas of the business.

The website has been designed with the individual user in mind as it gives relevant and appropriate information as and when they need it. BCL Legal services different clients and candidates at various stages of their careers so the new site allows the user to specify what level they are so they can access what’s appropriate to them quickly and easily.

A lot of focus has also been placed on revamping The Brief – the firm’s online magazine that was launched in early 2010. The aim is for it to become an even more integral part of the main site which will be updated on a rolling basis to provide up-to-date information on all things legal.

Readers will be able to stay tuned to all the latest industry news as well as topical comments from BCL Legal and their contemporaries. It will also continue to offer opinions on current issues and will include more video led content.
