BCL Legal – one of the leading legal recruitment consultancies outside London – recently sponsored the hugely successful annual Commerce & Industry Midland’s Summer BBQ which took place in July at The Studio in Birmingham.
This year’s event – like every other year – is one of the organisation’s annual highlights attracting over 50 of the region’s brightest legal talents from companies including; RBS, The Phoenix Group, National Grid,
Poundland, Alstom, TNT, HomeServe, Deutche Bank, Carillion Plc, Muller, Aston Villa FC and Next plc.
Neil Fitzherbert – a communications expert – shared his ‘Rules of Magic’. Neil is famous for his forward thinking ideas that are based around how the business community can tap into the 20 principles that are instinctively used by the world’s top magicians. The principles fall into four categories: engagement, attention, impact and conviction – all key drivers in the legal and commercial worlds.
Mark Levine, director of BCL Legal’s in-house department, commented; ‘The event was a huge success and we were delighted to sponsor it this year. Neil’s presentation was engaging and it was fantastic to see so many of the region’s rising stars networking together.’
