BCL Legal – one of the UK’s leading legal recruitment consultancies which has offices in Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds, Birmingham, Bristol and Reading – is growing its offering with the launch of its new ‘Brand in a Box’ service which will devise and create ‘take-away’ brand strategies for small to medium sized law firms.
As an experienced player in the legal market, BCL Legal believes that a strong brand should sit right at the core of any business strategy because it improves client engagement and supports growth objectives. So, the firm has teamed up with Allie Johns from ‘that is’… – a brand development consultancy – to create an off the shelf product which will help clients to define their goals and how they can reach them.
The unique service will include workshops or 1-2-1 interviews that will be based around six key sides of branding; including; what differentiates the client, what are its aspirations and what challenges or opportunities exist. The process will also see the creation of a ‘Brand DNA’ document which will incorporate an overarching vision, a set of values, a list of key qualities and a summary of its personality. The ultimate aim is to then demonstrate the value of how taking a strategic approach to building a brand can help to achieve medium to long-term business goals.
Allie commented; ‘No longer is it sufficient for law firms to ‘follow the rest’ and ‘blend in’ as one homogenous sector. Neither is it about sitting back and waiting for the next client to ring or email. ‘Brand in a Box’ is about creating differentiation and delivering real growth aspirations and objectives. The whole concept has been created to meet the needs of small to medium law firms which are facing an ever challenging environment – especially with the advent of The Legal Services Act.’
‘Brand in a Box’ is part of BCL Legal’s Management & Support Division which launched early in the year. The department recruits non-legal managerial and support staff.
