As we move into a new financial year it’s clear to see the momentum picking up with more roles being released across a range of practice areas with property and litigation still massively buoyant areas. The looming referendum certainly hasn’t affected recruitment in the North and whilst opinions surrounding the decision are very much divided, high street firms through to regional and national practices are expanding their property teams.
As experienced recruiters we are regularly asked to contribute informative and well researched pieces surrounding the market, certain practice areas and opinions relating to legislative changes and government initiatives directly affecting the legal sector. This month we were fortunate enough to provide a detailed piece for the Solicitors Journal on the topics of the moment; the Brexit conundrum, recruitment & retention rates and north-shoring. With added contribution from Tanya Holt, real estate partner at Nabarro and Barbara Painter Newcastle real estate partner and development specialist at Bond Dickinson. We discussed why unprecedented growth, north-shoring and a hunt for talent are making Yorkshire and the North East more popular than ever. Here’s a link to the article below. If you’re a solicitor considering a move to the North, we’d love to hear from you.
