Changing job sectors

In 2012 I swapped the art studio for the office when I decided to become an admin apprentice within a small PPI company where I completed both my Business Administration level 2 and AAT level 2 qualifications. I started my AAT Level 3 at the same PPI Company but found that the tasks I was doing on a daily basis were not allowing me to put my accounting knowledge to the best of my ability.

I then decided it was time to move on and joined BCL Legal in September 2014. Since being here I have taken on a varied role as a Finance Assistant. I have been given the responsibility of credit control and I assist with the weekly temp payroll as well as admin duties.

I am on track to complete my level 3 AAT by the end of April 2015 and I hope to then sign up to Level 4 which will take between 12-18 months to complete. I am unsure yet what I want to do once I have completed my AAT but hope that once I have gained the full qualification it will provide me with a wider range of opportunities for my future career in finance.
