Commercial IP / IT Solicitor - City of London - Private Practice National firm is looking for an IP/ IT Commercial Solicitor due to continued expansion. The Team This is an exciting time to join an award winning team that covers a broad spread of commercial, data protection, IT and IP work, including all types of commercial contracts, both B2B and B2C; collaboration agreements; e-commerce documents; IP licences; software contracts; advisory work especially regarding UK GDPR compliance. Clients range from small and medium sized businesses to larger PLCs, in a broad range of industry sectors, such as tech, manufacturing, publishing, education and retail. Much of the work is international in nature. The team's understanding of IT contracts goes significantly beyond the drafting and negotiation of legal terms and conditions, and we offer many years of experience 'under the bonnet' of project negotiations and strategy. The Candidate The team is looking to hire an Associate around 2-5 years' PQE to assist the partners with an exciting caseload of non-contentious work, in particular drafting, negotiating and advising on commercial contracts, data protection documents and UK GDPR compliance. This role will suit a confident and enthusiastic mid-level solicitor who is committed to providing the best and most efficient service to clients.
