Conveyancing Assistant- Leeds
Due to growth this Legal 500 law firm with offices across Yorkshire is recruiting conveyancing assistants to join its well established team in Leeds city centre.
Established for many years and now within the top 20 law firms in Yorkshire it now has a team of 190 people. It strives to employ personal and approachable people which offer a wide range of services to both individuals and businesses.
You will be working as part of the New Build team which consists of 14 people where you will be assisting with a caseload from inception through to post completion. The role is varied and will involve:
* Carrying out Land Registry searches
* Drafting sales contracts
* Liaising with clients
* Exchanging contracts
* Requesting redemption statements
* Handling completions
* Post Completion files
It is essential that you have proven experience of working within the conveyancing sector and have a good work ethic, in return you will be offered the opportunity to work within a leading well established law firm.
