Commercial Litigation Solicitor, Newcastle
An opportunity has arisen for an ambitious commercial litigation solicitor to join the Newcastle team of this leading, national practice. The national disputes team consists of over 200 lawyers firm wide and has a strong reputation and proven track record in litigation, arbitration, mediation and specialist disputes advice. Recognised in Chambers and the Legal 500, the team is undoubtedly a leader in its field.
As a commercial litigation solicitor at the firm you will enjoy and extremely diverse mix of high quality work on behalf of an impressive list of FTSE 250 clients including national household names in the transport, financial services, chemicals and manufacturing sectors among others. You will partner this superb client list in resolving multi million pound disputes.
The work could include commercial contract disputes, advising on pension disputes, IT and technology disputes, procurement disputes and everything in between. What is common with all the contentious work is the quality and complexity.
The team is looking to hire a solicitor with minimum of two years' PQE, to include experience of a broad range of commercial disputes work and/or arbitration gained at a leading firm. More important will be the ability to apply a forensic intelligence to complex issues on behalf of clients, a pro-active attitude to work and a level of personal resilience to support challenging yet rewarding cases.
As part of a collaborative and successful team of lawyers you will awarded a competitive salary, flexible benefits and a fantastic personal development plan.
