Commercial and Property Litigation Solicitor, Newcastle
This recognised regional practice is seeking an ambitious litigation solicitor with a minimum of one years' PQE to join the team in Newcastle to specialise in commercial and property dispute resolution. This Lexcel accredited firm is known for its approachable, trustworthy and practical approach and for providing its clients with an outstanding level of personal service. The firm acts for both companies and private clients across a range of practice areas.
The litigation team is a small and distinctively collaborative team which deals with a broad range of clients across various sectors. Its client base includes large companies, owner managed businesses, healthcare professionals, leisure operators and rural businesses. The role will also involve working alongside the Company Commercial, Employment and Commercial Property teams.
The successful solicitor will:
- Handle their own caseload of varied matters as well as assisting the partner with straightforward contractual disputes to high value multi-track and technically complex matters
- Be able to handle cases independently and have experience dealing with commercial litigation, property litigation and civil litigation work however candidates with experience in just one of these areas will still be considered on merit
- Posses excellent communication skills and the flexibility to adapt to a wide range of competing needs
- Be able to demonstrate the ability to build relationships with a broad range of clients from individuals, partnerships and limited companies from a variety of different sectors
An up to date working knowledge of the civil procedure rules and litigation process is advantageous as well as a foundation in Company Law, Contract Law, Property Law and Law of Tort.
