Banking Litigation Associate

BCL Legal is assisting a tier 1 ranked banking litigation team in Bristol, seeking to recruit an NQ banking litigation associate. This is one of few teams outside of London specialising in contentious work for banks and mortgage lenders throughout the UK. This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified associate to join a banking litigation team rated top tier by Chambers.

This banking litigation team are working with FTSE banks, insurers and mortgage lenders throughout the UK on a broad range of contentious matters. The successful NQ associate joining this team will undertake work including advising on contentious lending and recovery issues, document management and more general litigation work alongside more senior solicitors in the team.

This role is ideally suited to newly qualified litigation associates, however more experienced candidates are also welcome and encouraged to apply. Candidates must be able to display experience in handling complex litigation cases for banking and financial services clients, training gained with a reputable national practice, a strong academic background and an enthusiasm for this type of work.
