EU, Competition/Procurement/State Aid Solicitor

Procurement/State Aid Solicitor. A leading international firm is seeking a procurement/state aid solicitor to join its leading Procurement, Competition, EU & Trade team in Birmingham city centre.

The Role:
* Advising on complex and challenging procurement, state aid, competition and EU projects.
* Working with clients from all tiers of European Institutions and Central Government.
* Working with NDPBs, Universities, Utilities and private sector contractors.
* Work spans a broad range of sectors including energy, infrastructure, technology, education and the public sector.

Candidate Requirements:
* You will have at least a years' experience in any or all of public procurement, State aid or EU funding (non essential).
* More importantly than this you should have a genuine and committed interest to working in the EU and international procurement and trade arena.
* You will be a keen networker with the ability to grow internal client relationships across the firm.
* You will enjoy business development from a bids, presentation, training perspective.
* Strong academic background.
