Contentious Construction Lawyer

We are working with a Top 50 law firm in the City who are require an experienced contentious construction solicitor to join them on a temporary basis.

Due to a particularly busy period they seek an experienced contentious construction solicitor who can take a lead role on current matters.

The ideal candidate would be experienced in running litigation in the Technology and Construction Court and have experience in adjudication proceedings and mediation. The candidate would also be experienced in providing practical and commercial advice at an early stage when a project is in distress. The team acts for a variety of clients including Employers, Contractors and Sub-Contractors and often acts in disputes concerning defective works, delay and disruption, interim and final payments and professional negligence.

Although not essential, it would be beneficial if the candidate also had experience in drafting and negotiating all types of construction documentation, including construction contracts, professional appointments, collateral warranties, third party rights agreements, parent company guarantees, terms and conditions of business, bonds and escrow agreements.
