A great opportunity has become available for a 5 PQE lawyer to join this firm's growing construction practice group in London. The role provides a mix of contentious and non-contentious work but has a predominant focus on contentious work.

The current balance of work in the team is c60% non-contentious, 40% contentious, almost exclusively UK-based and all building-related, involving both standard form and bespoke agreements. There is currently no engineering or infrastructure work but a significant bias towards residential development, which reflects the current profile of work across the wider Real Estate department. The team works closely with both the development and the Real Estate Finance teams, undertaking work predominantly for developers, project funders and high net worth individuals in the private development sector in respect of commercial and residential development schemes.

Ideally you will have experience within a City or regional law firm providing advice on construction law which includes:

- Relevant experience in Real Estate and Construction law in particular, experience in dealing with large sized funders and developers
- Knowledgeable and experienced in high value transactions and able to run matters through from instruction to completion
