In-house Commercial & Employment Lawyer

A global market-leader based in South Manchester are recruiting a Legal Counsel for their established and expanding team. Reporting into the Legal Manager you would provide regional and corporate legal advice, ensuring all contracts for the UK and Northern Europe are negotiated and drafted accurately. The Role: - Responsibility for your region of this global service provider managing commercial contracts and corporate transactions with the business; - Business partnering on day to day issues and strategic projects; - Research and advise on employment law across all jurisdictions in your region; - Working closely with the compliance team; and - Managing external lawyers as required. The Person: - NQ - 2 PQE with experience gained either in-house or in a commercial / employment team in a well known regional or national firm; - Excellent academics and communication skills; This is an excellent role for someone in employment or commercial law currently looking for a first move in-house, you would receive the support and guidance of a large, global legal team.
