This is a busy global team. This is a truly exciting time to join a rapidly expanding UK team and become part of an international practice in this booming area. You will have the opportunity to get involved in a range of exciting projects with plenty of scope for direct client contact.
The team advises clients in all the legal, regulatory policy and legislative issues that have substantive impacts on the way the public and private sector manages personal data collection, storage, transfer and cybersecurity risks. The team works collaboratively across multiple jurisdictions on a diverse range of local, regional and international issues in both developed and emerging markets, operating under very different data protection, privacy and cybersecurity regimes.
The team is looking for a data protection solicitor. The role involves working on a variety of GDPR-related and e-privacy projects. You need to be a qualified solicitor for England and Wales, ideally with between 2 plus years' PQE who is able to demonstrate a passion for data protection. Knowledge and understanding of data protection law, prior work experience and a good understanding of IT and new technologies are a plus.
