Commercial Knowledge Management Lawyer - 7+ PQE - Birmingham This is an exciting opportunity to pursue a challenging alternative career away from fee earning and within Knowledge Management. A chance to think outside the box, be innovative and drive change to deliver exceptional results on all knowledge matters for a highly regarded Commercial team within a national law firm. The role As a Knowledge Management Lawyer in this team, you will: · Work with a team of like minded individuals including legal technologists on strategic projects for the firm linked to legal technology, document automation and artificial intelligence. · Support the firm's overall business strategy. · Develop and deliver training sessions to both fee earners, senior management and clients. · Think creatively about process improvements that will enhance client experience and fee earner performance. The candidate: The successful Knowledge Management Lawyer will have: · 7+ years PQE working as a commercial contracts lawyer whether in private practice or in-house. Candidates from a corporate background will also be considered. · Experience as a Knowledge Management/Professional Support Lawyer or in document automation is desirable but not essential provided you have a genuine desire to move away from a traditional fee earning or in-house role. · Project management experience. · The ability to think strategically. · Keen interest in legal technology to include document automation, artificial intelligence and client portals. · Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence others.
