Residential Plot Conveyancer

A leading national firm is looking for a skilled paralegal to join them in their Plot Sales team, based in Birmingham. THE TEAM The Housing Development and Regeneration Team work alongside top 10 residential property developers including The Miller Group, Persimmon, Taylor Wimpey, Bloor and Gleeson Developments. It is among the best known names for residential development legal work and plots sales in the UK. With more than 40 experts dedicated entirely to this discipline, it is also one of the biggest. THE ROLE As a paralegal in the Plot Sales team, your role will have a residential property focus. You will be managing your own caseload of plot sales matters for housing developers and registered social landlords. ABOUT YOU - You will have a minimum of 12 months' experience of working in a residential development related role - You will be able to manage your own caseload on tight deadlines from instruction through to file closure - You will be able to remain calm under pressure and prioritise your workload effectively - You will work well in a team environment (this may include working as part of a bigger project team) - You will have the ability to give clear, practical advice with sound commercial judgment and swift accurate implementation of instructions - You will understand property related deeds and documents with experience of drafting Leases, Transfers and other property related deeds and documents - You will have the ability to communicate appropriately and confidently at all levels within the team and the wider business as well as with clients, agents and other parties in person, by phone, letter, email or other communication means FURTHER INFORMATION - Salary c£30,000 - Hybrid Working (50% of your time working from home, 50% in the office) - Great Benefits on offer (including 25 days annual leave, bonus scheme, free private medical insurance, generous pension, life assurance, chance for a 3 month sabbatical every 5 years, health and wellbeing programmes, maternity/paternity/adoption leave schemes) - Excellent scope for career progression If you are interested in this role and you have the pre-requisite experience, please send your up-to-date CV to amandayoung@bcllegal.com.
