Shipping Lawyer (Re-train)

A top tier, highly regarded Scottish firm is looking for a Solicitor to add to their Shipping team, based in Edinburgh. The Firm & Team: - Provide legal advice to companies within the shipping and transport sector - Act for commercial and insurer clients on both transactional and contentious matters - Supportive and collaborative environment - Excellent training programme provided The Role: - Work for leading shipping and transport clients handling commercial and insurance disputes, claims, PI defence, marine and port regulation issues - Handle a broad and varied caseload, acting for clients including P&I clubs, marine/energy insurers, commercial clients etc - Training provided for those with no experience in the area The Candidate: - Interested in the shipping and transport sector - Strong oral and written communication skills - Experienced instructing counsel - Experience with litigation not essential but ideal BCL Legal is an equal opportunities employer.
