This is a fantastic opportunity for a September qualifier or recently qualified solicitor to join a top tier and award winning Pensions team and work as part of team lead by leading experts in the field of pensions law.
This team undertakes pensions work for an array of clients including; household name organisations, global PLCs, Universities, trustees of occupational pension schemes, the leading independent broker dealers in the UK, top ten variable annuity issuers and Fortune 50 companies in the US.
As a junior lawyer in this team, you will undertake a varied and interesting role to include:
Drafting pension scheme documentation
Preparing client advice notes
Developing training documents for clients
Attending client meetings
Preparing presentations for business development seminars
Carrying out pensions due diligence on corporate transactions
Being involved in research and advice for leading pensions advisory and regulatory bodies
The successful candidate will be a September qualifier or have recently qualified and worked post qualification at a well regarded firm. They will have gained exposure to pensions work or be able to demonstrate excellent technical and communication skills together with a genuine interest in working in pensions law. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and bright solicitor looking to work at a large Birmingham firm and specialise in pensions law.
