Planning and Environmental Associate Solicitor | 0-3 PQE | International Law Firm | Manchester city centre BCL Legal is pleased to be assisting an international law firm in seeking an Associate Solicitor to join its Planning and Environmental team in Manchester. The Role As an Associate in this Planning and Environmental team, you will: -Join an award-winning national team that handles a wide variety of contentious and non-contentious matters. -Work on high-profile projects including new road, rail, airport and port schemes and significant urban developments. -Provide advisory services on complex planning applications, Section 106 and Section 278 agreements, and environmental impact assessments. -Represent planning authorities on CPO work, enforcement issues, High Court litigation, and public inquiries. -Participate in planning and environmental due diligence on commercial and corporate transactions. About You To be successful in your application for this Planning Associate vacancy, you will have: -0 - 3 years' PQE with experience in planning and environmental law. -A strong academic background. -Excellent technical skills with an innovative approach to their application. -Strong client focus and a commitment to service delivery. -Proven ability to manage and progress matters independently. -A good teamwork ethic and a can-do attitude. -Aptitude for business development and client facing experience.
