Social Housing Solicitor or FILEX | Tier 1 Firm | 2-5 PQE | Norwich Want to work for a firm that has true flexible working and offers part time roles? The Firm Top 60 full service law firm with offices in East Anglia and London with over 750 staff including over 400 lawyers. The Team The team is ranked in Tier 1 in the Legal 500. This is a highly regarded and expert team which has experienced significant growth in recent years which is set to continue. They are a multi-disciplinary team, who work closely with the planning, construction and house-builder teams. They act for a broad range of national and regional Registered Providers, local authorities, private house-builders and funders. The Opportunity The role is for a social housing (property) solicitor to join the well regarded social housing team in Norwich. The work will involve: * Drafting and negotiating Infrastructure Agreements (s38, s278, s104 and s185 in particular) and Deeds of Easement/Deeds of Grant for Registered Providers * Drafting documents required to set up shared ownership and open market units for sale * Assisting senior solicitors with reports on title, review of replies to enquiries and analysing search results * Drafting and negotiating Deeds of Variation to Section 106 Agreements for Registered Providers * Drafting and negotiating Nomination Agreements on behalf of Registered Providers * Drafting and completing intragroup transfers About You You will need to be: * 2-5 PQE * Qualified solicitor of FILEX Ideally have experience: * within a regional, national or City firm OR have been part of an in house team for a Registered Provider or house-builder * in residential and/or commercial property * in the social housing sector (ideal but not absolutely necessary) Any applicant with more or less PQE than that mentioned in the vacancy details will be considered on their individual merits.
