Role To support the company as it continues it meteoric growth, expansion and diversification, a brand new opportunity has arisen for an NQ Commercial Solicitor to join the established legal team in Manchester. As part of the team, the NQ Commercial Solicitor / Assistant Legal Counsel will principally focus on commercial work. This will involve drafting, reviewing and negotiating a range of commercial agreements, dealing with IP and advising on data protection and compliance matters. In addition, you will gain exposure to areas such as mergers and acquisitions, real estate, litigation and employment law, with a growing emphasis on cross-border transactions (including in the USA, Australia and South East Asia). About you We are looking for a NQ Commercial Solicitor who has qualified in 2018 or 2019. You must have gained appropriate commercial experience with a leading law firm or in-house legal team. In addition to strong advisory and drafting skills, you must have the ability to identify the commercial aspects of a legal problem and be able to communicate pragmatic solutions to help the business continue to its success.
