Corporate Tax - Associate Corporate Tax Associate. BCL Legal is currently working with an international firm in Birmingham who are seeking to recruit an associate to join their corporate tax team and be based in the Birmingham office. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a top tier and leading UK corporate tax team and work closely with a enviable client base ranging from; major corporates in the food, energy and manufacturing sectors, overseas investors, UK institutional investors and local authorities. This highly experienced and respected corporate tax team advises on the full remit of tax matters including; corporation tax, income tax and capital gains tax; capital allowances; stamp taxes, VAT, NICs, employee related tax issues and CIS. The team also works closely with other professionals such as; accountants, surveyors, actuaries, consultants and engineers. This is a busy and collaborative team that will offer the successful candidate the opportunity to become involved in first class tax work for predominantly City based clients. This team is growing and has an excellent pipeline of work. The ideal applicant will have a minimum of 4 years post-qualification experience in corporate tax gained at a well regarded national or City firm and be able to demonstrate experience of; transactional tax support and structuring advice (including banking and finance), share scheme and related experience, and a track-record of providing advice to owner-managed businesses. The successful candidate is likely to be hard working, ambitious, flexible and enjoy working in a collaborative and inclusive environment. The position would suit an established Birmingham based senior corporate tax solicitor or a solicitor relocating who wishes to continue to have access to City quality work.
