Banking Solicitor with leading international firm in Birmingham The role A fantastic opportunity for an ambitious lawyer looking to specialise in banking and finance work solicitor at a leading international firm in Birmingham and work directly with partners and teams across the firm both in the UK and internationally. The team This finance and banking team works for a great variety of clients including international leading financial institutions, UK clearing banks, asset based lending providers, domestic and international corporate borrowers on a wide range of acquisition finance, corporate lending, real estate finance and asset based finance deals. The opportunity This is a unique opportunity to work for a truly global finance team and gain exposure to working on deals across the globe on a daily basis. The successful candidate will work for an impressive range of clients and advise and assist on all legal aspects of a broad range of finance transactions from local management buy outs to venture finance transactions in Silicon Valley. The candidate The ideal candidate will be an NQ - 10 year PQE solicitor with strong academics and an interest in all aspects of banking and finance work. Whilst direct experience of finance work (in particular LMA based facilities and inter creditors) would be of particular interest, previous finance experience is a pre-requisite and the candidate must demonstrate a genuine interest and aptitude for the work. In addition the successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be a self-motivated, pro-active, and collaborative individual who strives to deliver excellent results.
