Property Litigation Associate/Senior Associate - 5PQE+ - Birmingham BCL is currently working on a rare opportunity for a junior property litigation Associate/Senior Associate to join a highly experienced top 50 national property litigation team in Birmingham. This is a great chance for a 5PQE+ property litigation solicitor to work for a range of sector clients including well known retail and leisure brands, investors and developers of commercial and residential land and public bodies on the full remit of property litigation matters. This role would suit a hard working, enthusiastic and ambitious property litigator who is looking to join a busy and collegiate team and undertake a full range of commercial real estate litigation work such as; lease renewals and possession claims; recovery of rent and other arrears; rights to light and other easement disputes; service charge issues; property related insolvency and restrictive covenants. The team also have expertise in specialist areas of property law including; property related telecomms disputes, judicial reviews and agricultural disputes. Candidates should be able to demonstrate strong commercial property litigation experience gained at a well regarded national or regional firm with particular experience in business lease renewals and commercial landlord and tenant disputes. Candidates should also have solid technical knowledge, be able to demonstrate a passion for property litigation, excellent time management skills and be able to work to tight deadlines.
