Public Law Litigation Solicitor - National Firm BCL Legal is pleased to be recruiting for a Public Law Litigation Solicitor on behalf of a leading national firm in Birmingham. This is a fantastic opportunity for a solicitor with at least 1 years' PQE to join an experienced and collegiate team with excellent career development prospects and superb technical training. The team: The Regulatory, Public and Commercial Disputes team operate nationally and specialise in a variety of public law and litigation matters primarily for the educational sector. Clients include Universities, higher education colleges, and academies. The role: The successful candidate will be working on a varied caseload including advising on freedom of information and data protection legislation, governance documents, international sanctions legislation, equality and diversity matters, immigration issues and conducting breach of contract, judicial review and discrimination litigation. You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong client relationships and providing excellent client service. You will also be attending internal and external events and playing a key role in developing the firm's business. Although based in the Birmingham office, you will sometimes be travelling within the UK to support clients and collaborate with colleagues at the other offices.
