A national firm with a strong presence in Leeds are seeking an experienced Solicitor to bolster their Planning team in Leeds. This role is offered either full or part time on a permanent basis, with agile working options available.

This UK-Top 100 firm advises businesses across construction, energy & resource management, higher education and financial services, complementing the firm's market leadership within local government, housing, and health & social care.
The Planning Team has experienced significant growth over the last couple of years and that growth is set to continue, with major tender wins on high profile projects and clients across the country.
Their clients include local authorities, developers, registered providers, health trusts and healthcare providers, as well as major corporate clients.
THE OPPORTUNITY
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Solicitor to develop your technical skills and knowledge of the healthcare sector, with amble client exposure, the ability to grow your own network and enhance your business development skills.
You will advise on all the issues involved in bringing sites forward for sustainable development and regeneration including negotiating planning agreements, highways and compulsory purchase advice, planning appeals, listed building and conservation areas advice, contaminated land and the defence of town green applications.
This role will involve advising clients on a wide range of contentious and non-contentious planning matters, including planning appeals and compulsory purchase work.
THE CANDIDATE
- NQ+ PQE Solicitor with relevant experience gained from a reputable firm
- Confidence to engage with clients and develop client relationships
- Ability to work as part of a team in addition to being confident working under own initiative
- Strong academic background with excellent communication and organisational skills
