A Top 100 National Firm with an excellent employment practice is looking to hire a Employment Solicitor to strengthen their offering in Leeds. This role is offered full time on a permanent basis, with agile working options available.
THE FIRM & TEAM
The Firm is a Top 100 National Firm with a stellar Employment practice of more than 50 fee earners across multiple locations. They have a strong focus on healthcare sector clients, together with some exposure to non-healthcare public and private sector clients.
The Firm undertakes high quality Respondent work for an impressive client portfolio. They provide employment advice on the full range of contentious and non-contentious matters including Tribunal litigation, TUPE, executive terminations, whistle-blowing, corporate support, discrimination, breach of covenants and restructuring.
The team provides legal advice and training on the full range of employment law issues, supporting clients from board level to generalist HR practitioners, and has a reputation for handling the most sensitive and high-profile employment law cases. The role will involve working on a range of contentious and non-contentious matters including general employment advisory work, the handling of employment tribunal claims, whistle-blowing, high profile cases, advising on reorganisation and redundancy issues and the application of healthcare legislation to routine employment law scenarios. The candidate should have good client handling skills and be able to work well with other team members.
