A construction disputes associate is offered an excellent opportunity to join a Legal 500 and Chamber ranked construction disputes team at this top tier City firm.
The firm is a leading international practice, operating throughout the UK and Europe, Asia, Africa, Middle East, North and South America.
The construction disputes team in London act for contractors, funders and stakeholders, government bodies, developers, and public authorities both domestically and internationally on projects spanning commercial development, infrastructure, industrial, engineering, retail, utilities, hotels and leisure, and energy sectors.
The successful construction disputes associate joining this highly ranked construction disputes team in London will undertake complex, challenging, and high-value construction disputes work, which will include:
- Adjudication
- Mediation
- Arbitration (under ICC, LCIA, and UNCITRAL rules)
- TCC litigation
- Matters relating to FIDIC, JCT, NEC, RIBA, ACE, IChemE, IEE, and bespoke contracts
- Dispute avoidance
This position is ideally suited to candidates between NQ and one year PQE. Candidates applying for this position should be able to display:
- A strong academic background
- At least a single training seat in construction disputes
- Strong technical knowledge
- Strong communication, drafting and negotiation skills
