Our client is a leading national practice, with a strong City presence, ranking as one of the top 100 law firms in the UK.
Their Legal 500 ranked property litigation team is seeking to bolster their offering, with the addition of an experienced property litigation lawyer as either a Senior Associate or Legal Director.
This market leading property litigation team undertake work that is complex and challenging, and often politically and commercially sensitive in nature. This includes acting for registered providers, private clients, developers, corporates, investors, ecclesiastical institutions, management agents, educational institutions, and government agencies.
The successful candidate joining this highly renowned property litigation team in London will undertake a broad range of work, which will include:
- Land, development, commercial, and residential leasehold disputes.
- Telecommunications disputes.
- Housing management disputes.
- Adverse possession and commercial disputes.
- Estate and asset management disputes.
- Restrictive covenants and easements.
- Service charge disputes.
- Boundary disputes.
- Contested lease renewals.
- Trespass.
- Dilapidations.
- Property related insolvency issues.
- Forfeiture.
- Litigation, ADR, and risk advisory matters.
The individual joining this team will take on a senior position in the team, as either a Senior Associate or Legal Director. With a minimum of six years' PQE, you may be an existing Senior Associate seeking a step up, or a Legal Director seeking to take your career in a new direction. Candidates applying for this position should be able to display:
- A track record in a strong property litigation team is preferred.
- An interest in development of and supporting other colleagues.
- A willingness to work independently and as a team and a strong work ethic essential.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and organisational skills.
- An ability to manage key client relationships and internal relations is important.
- A good work ethic and passion for real estate and real estate litigation.
