Position Overview: As a Non-Contentious Construction Associate, you will play a pivotal role in advising on high-profile construction projects across the UK and internationally. You will work closely with clients including developers, contractors, and financiers, providing strategic legal advice on a broad range of construction-related matters. Key Responsibilities: - Advising clients on all aspects of non-contentious construction law, including drafting and negotiating construction contracts, consultancy agreements, and other related documentation. - Assisting clients in managing risk throughout the lifecycle of construction projects, from inception to completion. - Providing support on procurement strategies and advising on the structuring of development agreements. - Collaborating with other departments within the firm to deliver comprehensive legal solutions to clients. - Keeping abreast of legal developments and industry trends to ensure up-to-date advice is provided to clients. Candidate Requirements: - Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 3 years' PQE in non-contentious construction law. - A strong academic background with excellent credentials from a reputable university. - Demonstrated experience in advising on complex construction projects, preferably within a leading law firm or an in-house legal team. - Strong drafting and negotiation skills with a keen attention to detail. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive approach to problem-solving. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
