Corporate Conveyancing Solicitor - Newcastle An ambitious, award-winning firm are looking for a Solicitor to join their Corporate Conveyancing (remortgages) team based in England. The role will involve assisting the department to provide an end to end conveyancing service for corporate clients. This will involve managing the day to day operations of the remortgage conveyancing team alongside performing conveyancing duties relating to the remortgage of properties. DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES - Examination of title for properties and the preparation of reports on title for clients. - Co-ordination and management of client specific requests and projects. - Managing a caseload dealing with conveyancing aspects including lease extensions, sale by LPA receivers and staircasing. - Reviewing and revising Shared Ownership or Shared Equity co-operation agreements. - Non standard litigation enquiries i.e. investigations and advice requested by the client or supplier charged at an hourly or fixed fee to assist or provide commentary in the rectification of a title issue or observation. - Supervising and supporting the Paralegal team in the remortgage and repossession conveyancing teams - Ensure LSPG Policies and Procedures are adhered to at all times. REQUIREMENTS - Qualified Solicitor with at least 2 years PQE. - Previous Private and Corporate Conveyancing experience. - Experience of working within a conveyancing environment and providing advice and recommendations to clients on corrective conveyancing processes. - Knowledge of private client and corporate client conveyancing general procedures - legal reports, title review and undertakings. - Knowledge of all Microsoft Office packages. ABOUT YOU - You will have good organisation and time management skills. - Good attention to detail. - Excellent written and oral communication skills. - Able to work on your own initiative.
