RESIDENTIAL CONVEYANCING PARALEGAL - SOUTH EAST A leading UK and International firm are seeking a Residential Conveyancing Paralegal to join their busy team. THE ROLE The successful candidate will be part of a busy team delivering a high quality legal service predominantly in respect of residential property transactions ranging from high value properties to studio flats. The team also advises on the purchase and disposal of land, the sub-division of land and the refinancing of property. The team also have experience of providing comprehensive legal advice on landlord and tenant matters. The candidate will have the opportunity to get involved in a varied blend of residential property work. Responsible for undertaking fee-earning work and provide a profitable contribution to the work of the department. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - To support all aspects of drafting contracts; - Support with completion statements; - Ensure compliance with professional duties and the firm's internal procedures; - Active participation in business development initiatives; - To demonstrate required knowledge and keep up to date with developments in the law; - To manage the billing process and to achieve income targets; - Participate in firm wide and team specific training sessions; REQUIREMENTS - No specific legal qualification is required but the candidate must be able to demonstrate some relevant experience in the Real Estate Sector. - Some experience of the relevant area of law is required for this role. - Good communication skills both verbal and written and the ability to develop strong relationships with clients and others in the sector. - A professional approach to work to ensure deadlines are met. - The ability to support the team's work and to be able to run their own files as part of a larger team. - To be able to keep calm under pressure. To work well on a wide range of tasks simultaneously and be able to organise work accordingly. - To be able to work well in a team and understand others' importance to that team.
