Agricultural & Rural Property Solicitor 2-6 PQE - Leeds
A specialist national firm is looking for a talented and ambitious Agricultural & Rural Property Solicitor to join their established team in Leeds. This is a great opportunity to develop your career within a team made up of leaders in their field.

The successful candidate will join the established property team in Leeds handling an agreed caseload of commercial property transactions. Clients comprise largely of landed estates, farmers, entrepreneurs, charities, ecclesiastical bodies, and a large number of private individuals involved with rural property.
As a part of this successful team, you will be required to handle a broad range of property work, including but not limited to:
- Sales and purchases
- Non-contentious landlord and tenant
- Secured borrowing and lending
- Development sites including ancillary documents such as easements, options and pre-emption arrangements etc
- Standard property work including title queries and registration work.
The ideal candidate will have an interest in some or all of the following:
- Buying and selling agricultural and sporting properties
- Agricultural tenancies
- Sporting Leases
- Renewable Energy
- Landed Estate work
- Intra-family Restructuring
Previous experience, knowledge or a genuine interest in any of the niche areas of the firm's work, such as landed estates, trusts, and charities would be an advantage, but is not essential as training will be provided where necessary.
You can expect a competitive package and salary from c.£45k upwards depending on experience, hybrid working and a wide range of other benefits.
This role would suit a junior qualified lawyer of around 2+ years PQE, however all levels will be considered providing you are confident and able to manage your own caseload.
